Terms of Service

Welcome to Charmer (“Charmer”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Charmrapplications, websites and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. We do not permit minors.
• You represent that you have the authority to enter into these Terms and that your use complies with applicable laws.

2. Account & Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
• Provide accurate, current information and keep it updated.
• We may require identity or age verification to help keep the community safe.

3. Subscriptions, Free Trials & Billing

• Some features are provided on a paid subscription basis. When you start a free trial, unless cancelled, it converts to a paid subscription at the listed price (e.g., £5, £20 or £99 per billing period). The billing descriptor may reference “CHARMER”.
• Auto‑renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled. You can cancel in‑app or via your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current paid period.
• Trial end timing: If you cancel before the trial ends, you won’t be charged. If you do not cancel, you authorise us (through our payment processor) to charge your payment method at trial end and on each renewal date.
• Refunds: Except where required by law or explicitly stated otherwise, payments are non‑refundable and there are no credits for partially used periods. This does not affect your statutory rights where applicable.
• Payment Processing: Payments are handled by third‑party processors. We do not store full card details on our servers.
• We may change prices or plans; changes will apply to subsequent periods after notice.

4. Acceptable Use & Community Guidelines

Charmris a mainstream dating and social connection service. To help everyone feel safe and respected, you agree that you will not:

• Violate any law, including those relating to privacy, publicity, and intellectual property.
• Post or solicit illegal, non‑consensual, exploitative, or underage content. Zero tolerance for any depiction of minors.
• Use the Service to buy, sell, advertise, or facilitate escorting, prostitution, or paid sexual services.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse others; send spam or scams; or engage in hate speech or incitement to violence.
• Publicly post pornographic content or explicit nudity on profiles or public areas. (Private, consensual adult messaging must still comply with these Terms and applicable laws.)
• Attempt to circumvent safety features, conduct scraping, reverse engineering, or interfere with the Service’s operation.

We may use a combination of automated tools and human review to moderate content and enforce these Terms.

5. Profiles, Messaging & User Content

• You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free licence to host, store, display, and transmit your content solely to operate and improve the Service.
• You represent you have the rights to the content you upload and that it doesn’t infringe others’ rights.
• We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or applicable laws.

6. Safety Notice (No Background Checks)

Charmrdoes not conduct criminal background checks on users. Always exercise caution when interacting with others online or in person. You are solely responsible for your interactions.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Charmror its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

8. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or pose risk to other users or to the Service. You may delete your account at any time via settings.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non‑infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error‑free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Charmrand its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our aggregate liability for all claims shall not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Charmrand its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service or your breach of these Terms.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [insert jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of laws principles. Courts located in [insert venue] shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless your local consumer law provides otherwise. If you prefer arbitration, replace this clause with your arbitration terms.
